In light of the mass shootings in Atlanta and the continued hate crimes targeting Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities and individuals in America, we've compiled a list of resources including action items and educational tools to get involved, learn more, and become better allies and champions of change and inclusivity.

Support the AAPI Community Fund to uplift and protect Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
STOP AAPI HATE
Launched in March of 2020, the center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying again Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. The group found nearly 3,800 incidents of hate, discrimination, or attacks on Asian Americans from March 2020 through February 2021.

Hollaback! operates as a perpetual affront to harassment — in all its forms. We started in 2005 working to end gender-based harassment in public space, also known as street harassment. In 2015, they expanded their mission to work on harassment across all spaces — including online, the workplace, transportation, protests, the polling booth, and all identities — including women, LGBTQ+ folks, Black folks, Indigenous folks, people of color, religious minorities, people with disabilities, immigrants, and all others who are treated as “less than” just for being who they are.

AAPI WOMEN LEAD
The #ImReady Movement begins with a series of conferences that will raise awareness around the experiences that AAPI women have with #MeToo, gender, and racial discrimination. Our families and communities are experiencing issues of domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse, sex trafficking, human trafficking, and domestic worker abuse. It is time to act.

Founded in 1972, Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus is the nation’s first legal and civil rights organization serving the low-income Asian Pacific American communities. Advancing Justice – ALC focuses on housing rights, immigration and immigrants’ rights, labor and employment issues, student advocacy (ASPIRE), civil rights and hate violence, national security, and criminal justice reform. As a founding affiliate of Asian Americans Advancing Justice, the organization also helps to set national policies in affirmative action, voting rights, Census and language rights.
